The meeting of the ACPG was called to order at 6:00 p.m. on April 25, 2013.  The first order of business was to congratulate Carmen Lewis on turning 100, and Claude invited everyone to the Community Center on Friday from 4-7 to celebrate.

A quorum was established and the minutes of the December 6, 2012 and March 28, 2013 meetings were approved as presented.  The chairman read a response from the County regarding subcommittee appointments.  The County saw no reason to ask for Williams to resign.

Nancy Lopez, Hall of Famer with the Ladies Professional Golf Association, picked a perfect, low 80’s, Alpine day to host an LLFG Golf Clinic at the Sycuan Resort.  The Ladies Links Fore Golf hosts Clinics around the country for new golfers and those that just need a few tips to help with their game.  We watched Nancy Lopez warm up with some spectacular hits and then visit with the participants who were going to play a round of golf with her.

The Parks and Rec sub-committee met on September 12, 2012.  The chairman, Jim Archer, reported on the meeting he had with the Community Center board.  The Community Center park and playground are privately owned by the families of Alpine;  the property was donated to the Community Center and the community center board maintains the park with private memberships and donations from the community.  No county money is given to the Community Center park except through grants from Supervisor Diane Jacobs’ office.

The Alpine Design and Review Board met Monday, September 10, 2012 at 7:00 p.m.  There was no quorem in August so there were no official minutes but they approved the minutes from the July meeting.

There were no comments from the public on any items that were not pertaining to the Agenda.
