Thought for the Week: Held in Love

There is nothing more uplifting than the feeling and experience of love. This innate energy feeds our very soul. When we know and accept we are loved no matter what, we shine with a beaming light that cannot be doused. As we approach Thanksgiving this year let’s focus on the realization that we are held in God’s loving embrace. Let us move forward in grace and confidence that we are in our right and perfect place to do good works. Let us remember to remember we are never alone, that there is a loving presence bringing us all we need. There are times that require change and growth.

There are times that challenge us to become more than we have previously been. To envision the warmth of Love’s guiding hand being there for us, brings accolades of joy from deep within. How happy it feels to praise and acknowledge the many blessings Life bestows upon us. To quote an article from Good Business Magazine, November 1938:

“I am thankful for: The life that pulsates in every cell and fiber of my being. The intelligence that illumes each step of my daily path. The faith that carries my vision past the immediate appearance. The work that enables me to express my highest talents. The joy that makes my heart dance. The food that nourishes my body. The rest that renews mind and body. The beauty that is spread all about me.”

The friends who hear and understand, who are loyal and true.” These are the ways Love holds us in Its embrace and I am ever so grateful!

Say with me: “I behold all the many ways I am held in Love’s embrace, and I am grateful.”
