This May brings plenty of reasons to visit the Alpine Library—from a celebration to civic engagement, and enjoyable programs for all.
Families are invited to join us on Wednesday, May 20 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. for a Magic and Bubble Show in honor of the Alpine Library’s 10th anniversary. Sparkles the Clown delivers fun, engaging entertainment that will keep everyone smiling. Kids in attendance will receive a gift bag courtesy of the Alpine Library Friends Association, while supplies last.
The Alpine Library is proud to serve as a Vote Center for the upcoming Gubernatorial Primary Election. Beginning May 23, you can register to vote and cast your ballot right here at the library. For more information, contact the Registrar of Voters at 858‑565‑5800 or visit sdvote.org.
Because our space will be used for election services, Feeling Fit Club classes on Fridays, May 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 2 – 3 p.m. will be held at Alpine Community Church at 2225 West Victoria Drive. This popular program for older adults supports endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance and is sponsored by County of San Diego Aging and Independence Services.
All library programs are free and open to the public. We hope you’ll join us for these events and much more this month.
