Workplace recognition programs often highlight companies where employee feedback shapes day-to-day operations. In 2026, Jamul Casino Resort is among those recognized, earning a USA Today Top Workplace designation that reflects its focus on team members and workplace culture. The USA Today Top Workplaces designation is based on employee survey feedback collected through a national program administered by Energage.
“This recognition is especially meaningful as it reflects the experience of our team members,” said Mary Cheeks, president and general manager. “Creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and inspired is incredibly important to us. When our team thrives, our community thrives alongside them.”
Focus on Workplace Culture
According to the resort, its approach focuses on prioritizing both guests and team members while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment. The resort states that it remains focused on strengthening workplace culture and continuing to invest in its team members.
Jamul Casino Resort has received four consecutive years of employer-related accolades, including the 2025 San Diego Top Workplace designation. The resort has also earned Fall Culture Excellence Top Workplaces awards for woman-led organization, appreciation, employee well-being, and professional development. These recognitions reflect ongoing evaluations of workplace practices and employee experience across multiple categories.

The 16-story boutique hotel includes expanded amenities such as new restaurants, retail offerings, a rooftop pool, and a full-service spa and salon, and was designed to achieve the AAA Four Diamond designation.
