Padre Dam Municipal Water District will host a free career workshop, “From Classroom to Career: Essentials for First-Time Job Seekers,” on Thursday, May 15 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at its Customer Service Center in Santee.
The event is open to the public, with a focus on entry-level professionals, students and those seeing a career change and may be interested in the water industry. Attendees will hear from industry experts about opportunities in the water sector, receive resume reviews and learn interview tips.
“From customer service and engineering to finance and park and recreation, there are incredible career opportunities in your own backyard,” said Kyle Swanson, Padre Dam CEO/General Manager. “Padre Dam offers a diverse range of jobs that offer competitive salaries, excellent benefits and the opportunity to make a difference in your community.”
Padre Dam serves more than 1000,000 residents in East San Diego County, including Santee, El Cajon, Lakeside, Flinn Springs, Harbison Canyon, Blossom Valley, Alpine, Dehesa and Crest. The public agency is governed by a five-member elected board.
