An area animal sanctuary is getting a jumpstart on the season of giving.
Beginning in October Lions Tigers & Bears is partnering with the TapRoom in North Park for a one-day fundraiser.
San Diego’s only exotic animal sanctuary is partnering with TapRoom for a special community fundraising night on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 6 – 10 p.m.. The evening will bring together animal lovers, craft beer fans and the local community for a fun night out while raising critical funds for rescued animals, according to organizers.
Participants can put their knowledge of the animal kingdom Guests can put their animal knowledge to the test with animal themed trivia, featuring fascinating facts about wildlife as well as some of the animals who now call Lions Tigers & Bears home.
TapRoom will also be pouring a specialty beer made exclusively for the event, “Lions Tigers & Beers.”
Lions Tigers & Bears was founded in 2002 on a 142-acre ranch in Alpine and is dedicated to rescuing and providing lifelong care for over 60 big cats, bears, and other exotic animals.
