Bargain hunters searching for a good deal on office equipment, double-sided stainless steel commercial refrigerators, dual fuel generators, sound mixers or laptops need look no further than their computer screen.
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca College District this week launched its fall surplus property auction that makes used equipment available to the public and businesses.
Items are from both the Grossmont and Cuyamaca campuses and are made available to reduce its carbon footprint by keeping unused inventory out of landfills.
Featured items include specialized wheelchairs, rehabilitation exercise ergometers, and paper-making equipment.
The auction is conducted online and items are sold as is.
The auction is open now through Oct. 27. All items can be viewed and bid on at http://calauctions. com.
Winning bids can be picked up between 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 29 at Grossmont College and Oct. 30 at Cuyamaca College.
