On Saturday, July 11, from 9 – 11 a.m., we’re teaming up with I Love a Clean San Diego for a Watershed Warriors Community Cleanup. This is a wonderful volunteer opportunity to help protect our local watershed and keep trash from reaching the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy a free popsicle after your shift!
On Saturday, July 18, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., come get creative at our DIY Beaded Bracelets workshop. With plenty of colorful beads to choose from, you can design something unique to take home. This program is for ages 9 and up. Sponsored by the Alpine Library Friends Association.
On Thursday, July 30, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., the American Red Cross will host a Blood Drive at the library. Giving blood takes about an hour and may save up to three lives! Participants will receive a Fandango Movie reward. Sign up at the front desk or online.
Young children and their caregivers will love our special themed story times every Wednesday in July at 10:30 a.m. Each week brings something new—community helpers, crafts, and fun dress‑up opportunities. These lively story times are full of surprises! And kids of all ages can join the Lego Club every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Imagine it and build it!
All library programs are free and open to the public.
