A vehicle accident in Campo that happened at 6:57p.m. on June 29 left one dead and three others injured.
The California Highway Patrol said the fatal accident occurred when an 18-year-old female driving a Kia Rio westbound on state route 94 near Sheridan Road made a legal left-hand turn and struck a Dodge Ram being driven by a 57-year-old intoxicated male.
The female driver sustained only minor injuries but had three passengers in her car, two of whom were injured and one who was pronounced dead.
A 17-year-old passenger in the car was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident and later died of injuries sustained during the crash.
The accident is still under investigation by CHP.
