The Annual Alpine Woman’s Club Scholarships were awarded to three youths: Erica Wilson, Kirra Pulsipher, and Natasha Beepath.
Erica Wilson was highly recommended by her Christian High School Principal, as a student that was worthy of the honor.  She plans on attended Samford University for Journalism and Mass Communications.
Kirra Pulsipher, graduate from Granite Hills, is planning on attending Brigham Young University, and is looking forward to majoring in English Literature.
Natasha Beepath, also a graduate from Granite Hills is planning on attended Cal Poly San Obispo, for Forestry and Natural Resourses.
For a first time this year, before Margaret Smith introduced and awarded the scholarships, a previous recipient, Zack Wiley, who has just graduated from Notre Dame University, spoke to the audience.  He recounted some of his experiences of his college career, saying that he would recommend being active in a sports or exercise activity to help with stress.  He also said not to shy away from those things that appear difficult, because it is often the difficult things that you learn the most from.
Congratulations, and best wishes to Kirra, Natasha, and Erica.
