United States. Border Patrol agents arrested a man who they later discovered had 38.40 lbs. of methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle he was driving.
Authorities say on Nov. 5 a drug sniffing dog alerted agents to the presence of drugs ina vehicle passing through a border checkpoint near Pine Valley.
A 29-year-old U.S. citizen was taken into custody.
