CAMPO, Calif. —The U.S. Border Patrol is attempting to apprehend a known alien smuggler, Martel Valencia-Cortez. Valencia has an extensive criminal history, and is the subject of a federal arrest warrant.
CAMPO, Calif. —The U.S. Border Patrol is attempting to apprehend a known alien smuggler, Martel Valencia-Cortez. Valencia has an extensive criminal history, and is the subject of a federal arrest warrant.
Early this morning, agents attempted a vehicle stop on the suspect’s vehicle which was known to be involved in a smuggling event. Valencia abandoned the vehicle involved near the Viejas Casino in Alpine, CA. It is believed that he may travel westbound in an attempt to flee south into Mexico. Valencia may attempt to steal a vehicle in order to flee south. He is also known to drive erratically including driving the wrong direction on highways and freeways which poses a threat to the general public.
