WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FOR THE ALPINE COMMUNITY PLANNING GROUP?

I was appointed to vacant seat #10 in December 2021. I ran for the open seat because I want to give back to my community and help create greater collaboration between the Alpine Community Planning Group and our community members. Since my appointment to the board, I motioned for and received the votes to create an ACPG Facebook page and social media procedures for ACPG members. My goal is to be a collaborative and productive member of the ACPG board.
Erika Simmons
I am incredibly dedicated to the development of Alpine as well as what the residents and families want for Alpine. I am passionate about supporting all aspects of the community. I serve on a number of boards and volunteer organizations, including the Alpine VFW, Kiwanis, Alpine Education Foundation, and School Site Council for Boulder Oaks Elementary. I am also running for a seat on the Alpine School District board. I am currently a member of the Alpine Community Planning Group and I continue to be dedicated to the Planning Group because it is the only government related organization in Alpine that influences decisions related to the development of our community.
