Thought for the Week: Prosperity through wisdom and love

We are raising our prosperity level this coming week through the use and practice of Divine Wisdom and Love. In the third chapter of the book of Proverbs, Solomon promised that the man who dares to follow the inner leadings of divine wisdom will have a long life, riches, honor, pleasantness, peace of mind, health, and happiness. We contact this universal wisdom by first recognizing its presence and asking for its help. We can use an affirmation such as: “There is an answer. Divine wisdom within me now shows me the perfect answer. I relax, let go and let it instruct me.”

On an ancient Greek temple were inscribed the words, “Love tempered with wisdom is the secret of life.” When we combine seeking our inner wisdom with divine love we have hit upon an unstoppable combination that brings lasting prosperity of peace, health and plenty in and through our lives. Eric Fromm describes the love concept simply: “Love shows itself as a harmonious attitude toward life.” Practicing the love concept helps us develop a noncritical attitude toward life and people.

We become less rigid, less fixed, less resistant to life and people when they do not follow our personal set of rules.

Life/God/Love is for us. It is always encouraging us to know our own inner wisdom and love and so many times it gives us experiences we would not have consciously “chosen” but are there to uplift and strengthen us. If we can remain harmonious, nonresistant, and uncritical when things go wrong, we are practicing the love concept and can thus be open to a greater good that is being revealed.

Say with me: “I am the illumined child of God, filled with the spirit of divine Love and Wisdom, by which I am guided in all my ways and now led into that which is for my highest good.”
