Thought for the Week: Rejoicing in life!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! That is what is resonating from within me as I pen this final Thought. Twenty-one years ago, as I stepped up to pulpit ministry, I had no idea how many wonderful and challenging life experiences awaited me! I began writing these “Thoughts” twenty years ago the week of the Cedar Fires. And wouldn’t you know it the topic was Gratitude! That small insert began to grow each continuing week and became my “seed thoughts” for the upcoming Sunday’s message. I have loved writing these and I’ve heard from many of you how much they have helped you in some way and for that I am grateful. Sunday’s topic is “Rejoicing in Life” and what a joy it is to live this Life of God – each of us in our own unique and wonderful way! Rejoicing, being grateful and focusing on the positive enlivens the soul and brings rich rewards we could never orchestrate on our own. Life responds and reflects back to us what we put into It. And when I say “Life” it encompasses all the various forms physical and spiritual that make up existence.

There is so much of Life that is a mystery; so much we yearn to understand and yet the Divine Reality is beyond finite comprehension. That’s why, to me, it’s just best to step out in faith accepting we are always in our right and perfect place and the more we open our hearts, commune, and trust our inner guidance, our lives will be directed in amazing and glorious ways. When we do that, we find there is something greater within us than we have ever imagined.

Take the time this coming week to rest in the silence; resonate with your inner Being, your whole and holy Self. Reflect on the good Life has given you and sing praises of thanksgiving now and always.

Say with me: “I rejoice in my life just as it is. I live the life I love, and I grow in my love for life!” Namaste.
