Thought for the Week: The secret of permanent prosperity

You are demonstrating prosperity to the degree that you are experiencing peace, health and plenty in your world. Who doesn’t want that? The question is how do we demonstrate prosperity? First, you cleanse your mind for prosperity which means you let go of negative and worn out thinking and items in your life. Second you create prosperity mentally, in writing, pictures and words. You think, write and say what you do want. These are ways you open your mind to prosperity in order to receive it.

But there is one more thing to do in order to experience permanent prosperity. The ancient Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Arabians, Greeks, Romans and Chinese knew about it and practiced is as “ten, the magic number of increase.” Tithe means “tenth”. The Bible’s first millionaire, Abraham learned this success secret from the Babylonians and passed it along to his grandson Jacob, who included it in his success covenant for the Hebrews.

Tithing is giving ten percent of your gross income to where you are fed spiritually – not to charity or to a need. When you give consistently to God’s work, you open the way to receive consistently in your own. There is one basic problem in life: congestion. There is one solution: circulation. Tithing is an act of faith that brings about circulation and dissolves congestion.

To truly prosper give your “first fruits”, 10% of all income immediately to where you are fed spiritually. Don’t think that tithing your “time” will do it. You’ll receive more time that way but not money. When you do not give voluntarily to constructive experiences of life, you will have to give involuntarily to the destructive experiences of life. But give you must. It is the law of the universe.

Say with me: “I open my mind and heart to place God first in my life by giving one tenth of all my income to where I am fed spiritually. I trust and see my faith growing to know that as I give so do I receive. I am now in the abundant flow of divine circulation. And it is so.”
