In Alpine, the Christmas Season is peppered with annual events that really turn on the need for holiday spirit. Once such event is the Christmas in Alpine Home Tour.  Every year the Alpine Woman’s Club arrange for Alpine residents to open the beautifully decorated homes to visitors to peruse, and celebrate the season.
These homes are amazing, and the organization of the tour usually includes 5 or 6 homes, as well as a public place here in Alpine.

This year, The Alpine Woman’s Club was the first stop, and the club house is always beautiful with it’s turn of the century architecture and lovely decor.
The Alpine Historical Society opened up the museums to the tour this year.  The beautiful little home of Dr. Sohphrina Nichols was open, and there was a Christmas Bazaar at the Bogg’s Resident, which was the next home on the tour.
The Holland Family opened their home up for the tour on Sky Mesa Road, and so did Terry and Sue Waddington. The Ammons were the next home, and then finishing off the tour, one could visit the Alpine Garden and Gifts on Alpine Boulevard.
The beautiful homes included the elegance that one often craves in Christmas decor.
There was modern decor in a wide variety of interesting lawn  ornaments, as well as modern trees and thought provoking ornaments.
Some homes were intricately adorned while others were simply styled.
This holiday event is always a wonderful way to help your Holiday Spirit star to glow. If you have never participated in it, next year would be a good time to start.
