San Diego Business Associates made the connection, bringing the first Fall Festival to Alpine to benefit The Heights Charter School. Many of our local business came out to the Albertson’s parking lot, to support this wonderful new educational opportunity. The Heights Charter School had their first successful year of operation in 2012, topping out their enrollment at over 80 students. This year, their enrollment has surpassed 100 students, and they have a waiting list for next year.

San Diego Business Associates made the connection, bringing the first Fall Festival to Alpine to benefit The Heights Charter School. Many of our local business came out to the Albertson’s parking lot, to support this wonderful new educational opportunity. The Heights Charter School had their first successful year of operation in 2012, topping out their enrollment at over 80 students. This year, their enrollment has surpassed 100 students, and they have a waiting list for next year.
The Heights Charter School is the product of Diana Whyte, who was a long time teacher at the Mountain View Academy through the Alpine Union School District. Whyte saw a need to provide the students of Alpine with a warm and welcoming atmosphere to learn at an individualized pace.
Dehesa School District granted the Charter, and Whyte has worked hard to incorporate a loving atmosphere into a higher learning environment. The API (Annual Performance Index) for the 2012-13 school year was 860, an impressive achievement to reach in their first year of operation.
The Fall Festival featured a pet costume contest, games, and activities for all to enjoy!
