You, Alpiners, have placed your votes for naming our very own Town Flower and the results are in! There were 10 flowers that were chosen by you and only one is the winner.
This Saturday, Oct. 14 will be the unveiling of the Alpine Town Flower from 2-4 pm at Alpine Garden and Gifts (2445 Alpine Blvd.) Honorary Mayor Luis Gomez will officiate the announcement. Cookies and apple juice will be served. The first 25 attendees will receive free packets of “nominee” wildflowers. Canvas Halloween kit-bags will be offered with a suggested donation along with other Preserve Alpine Heritage (PAH) items. Owner Autumn of Alpine Garden and Gifts will have additional plants and seeds available for sale.
What a beautiful way to celebrate Alpine with a unifying town flower. How impressive will it be in the future to have this flower spotted throughout our community! Come join us to find out which one it will be. See you there.
