Politics and pincushions

“Impeach him!” cried the senator from California. “Tar and feather the rascal” said another representative from San Francisco.

Others in the west wing that night suggested that term limits be lifted as another group demanded he be crowned the first king of America! Everywhere there was division and difference of opinion. All across America families were being split down the middle and a consensus among the population was nowhere to be found.

America was in trouble, she had turned away from the Most High God. Our Founding Fathers would be disappointed in what was taking place in the “city set on a hill” once thought of as “the light of the world”.

There is nothing new under the sun as politics, pincushions and people continue to cause pain, division and turmoil. Three thousand years ago the fledgling nation of Israel was going through the same strife as they demanded God to provide them with a king!

“Give us a king to judge us like all the other nations!” demanded all the people of Israel.

“Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” said the Lord to Samuel the prophet.

The name given to Jacob, “Israel” which means governed or ruled by God, declares God’s intent to be the One to rule the nations. However the nation could wait for God’s plan to unfold and demanded that He set them up with an earthly king. Unfortunately, they got what they asked for.

Today in America we are going down a similar road. Politics are dividing families, friends and pushing them away from working together to form a more perfect union under God. Not the worship of just any manmade image of any god, but the true worship of the One, true and Living God. There can only be one God by definition, think about it .

There is only one church and Jesus Christ is the head of that church . He is the First and the Last the Ancient of Days and He is the same yesterday, today and will be the same tomorrow Our differences in theology, liturgy and doctrine are a device of our enemy Part of Satan’ battle plan is to sow discord among the brethren which causes war , death and destruction all in the name of God.

Daniel the prophet pointed out that it is God who rules in the kingdom of man. He also stated that the Most High God appoints whomever He chooses to rule these kingdoms.

As the world clock continues to count down to a crescendo the prophecies in the book of Daniel are not being unveiled. The coming “Apocalypse” is coming as the lid is being lifted off the book of Daniel and Revelation God’s revelation of Messiah is here.

The image described in Daniel 2:32 is in fact a visual timeline that unlocks the door for the events foretold in the book of Revelation to take place. We are living in the Last Days. World empires no longer exist. The last great empire was the Roman Empire and it fell apart from within. This Roman Empire was not conquered from outside but shattered into pieces that found their way into other countries.

We are living in the feet of iron mixed with clay or silicon. Today’s weapons are guided by commuters with silicon chips. Recent events in the Middle East are pushing us closer to global conflict destruction and mayhem. Christians are not to be surprised by these events because they were foretold in the book of Daniel, Ezekiel and the Revelation.

Soon the entire world will cry out for a world leader , a pseudo-king who will bring a three and a half year time of peace. However, it will not be the King that God has always wanted to rule His creation. At some point this abomination will set up a world system in which all the world will be required to worship him.

The handwriting is on the wall. America and the world have been weighed and found wanting. Soon God will remove His Spirit from the world as this evil imposter; potentate is allowed to rule the world for a time.

However, there is another kingdom coming, God’s kingdom, which will be an eternal kingdom and it will arrive when and where He has predicted. His kingdom will be governed by The King of Righteous, an Everlasting King who is not of this world. And His name is Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew. He is the King of Glory, the Eternal King and the King of kings.
