Thought for the Week: Be still and know

Our prayer life is such a vital part of living a life that is full to overflowing with goodness and grace. It is said that every thought is a prayer. Do you believe your prayers are “heard” by God or whatever name you might call the Higher Power? I believe since we are united with this Higher Power, when we pray we are praying to that Power that is within us. And yes, I believe this Higher Power absolutely responds.
Jesus the Christ said on more than one occasion, “Your faith has made you whole, go and sin no more.” This is such a valuable lesson for it is telling us how powerful we truly are! When we pray we are to believe that our good is here now and we are to stay on this path and not look back, question, or doubt for all those responses are sins.
We are to know beyond a shad¬ow of a doubt that this holy Presence within us is now giving us everything we have need of. Yes, sometimes what we need will stretch us, will move us out and beyond our “comfort zone”. The divine qualities of Love, Expansion, eternal bringing forth of Peace, Joy and more is the truth of every one of us – but we must believe this is so.
I encourage you to go within to the stillness of your heart. Calm your thoughts and emotions and sit with the Divine Energy that is breathing your breath and beating your heart. Recognize It, honor It, ask It to fill you so full of Its essence that this is no room for doubt. This will set you on the straight and narrow path that leads to living a heavenly life here and now.
Say with me: “I do have faith and believe that the Father and I are one. I know all that the Father has is mine and I am ever so grateful. I am now open and receptive to living each moment from my divine Higher Self. And it is so.”
