Thought for the Week: Love is

Love is in the air; can you feel It? Valentine’s Day is fast approaching and that means a day to intentionally show our love to those we hold dear. Wouldn’t it be nice if we celebrated and gave our love each and every day of the year? We can certainly do that for internally, naturally and eternally Love is ever birthing us into Itself.

What does that mean? It means that Love simply is. Love is the essence, substance and energy that has birthed everything and will continue to do so throughout the ages. Love is the guiding light that opens doors to endless possibilities. Love is the creative energy that is always giving of Itself, and when we consciously align our lives with Its beckoning call, we reap joyful rewards.

1 Corinthians Ch 13 tells us: “Love is long-suffering and kind; love does not envy; love does not make a vain display of itself, and does not boast, Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil. Rejoices not over iniquity, but rejoices in truth; Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love.”

This tells us many things that Love is and is not. Do you think there’s a way, any chance at all, that you can grasp hold and accept this one basic concept – that you are Love in expression? Love birthed you and all. How about letting down your guard and feel this abiding presence deep within your heart and then let it out through the words you speak and the actions of your hands and feet.

Say with me: “The Love deep within me is a guiding light that is continually opening doors to me for my highest and best good. I now accept and allow Its divine energy to flow easily and effortlessly through all my endeavors. For this I am ever so grateful. And it is so.”
