The Alpine Sun
This year, the firest Waterwise and Butterflies was held at the Alpine Creek Town Center, hosted by the Alpine Garden Club and showcased everything one would need for their garden to grow into a veritable paradise. The Annual plant sale, featuring drought defiant plants was held at Christ the King Episcopal Church.
The event showcased garden art, plants, and the much anticipated butterfly release. Nancy Kennedy released the butterflies outside of Baron’s Market, and the monarchs were friendly enough to flit about the visitors and land on fingers, hair and shoulders.
