Law enforcement agencies throughout San Diego County are helping residents clear out the clutter this weekend.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department is accepting unwanted and expired medications. The take-back is part of the federal Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The event is free.
In Alpine medications will be accepted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Alpine Sheriff’s station, 2751 Alpine Blvd.
