The Alpine Woman’s Club Scholarship, Preservation and Education Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors who reside in Alpine. Applications must be received by May 31, and are available at alpinewomansclub. org.
In addition to living in Alpine, successful candidates must show scholastic and extra- curricular achievement, volunteerism or diligent employment, and plan to attend a college, university, or vocational school after graduation. An essay is also required.
In addition to awarding scholarships, the Alpine Woman’s Club preserves and maintains the Alpine Town Hall. These endeavors are funded by annual events produced by the Club, including the Alpine Holiday Home Tour, Attic Treasures Sale, and High Tea.
To date, the scholarship program has awarded more than $150,000 to Alpine Students.
