Get your glow on! St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center is bringing back Spookeasy: Blackout Party— a neon-filled, haunted Halloween bash with craft cocktails, live DJ, costume contests, and spooky surprises. All for a great cause!
The annual Spookeasy returns on Saturday, October 11, from 6:30 to 10 p.m., taking over the hidden gardens of SMSC’s five-acre campus in El Cajon. Guests will step into a glowing, speakeasy world, filled with blacklight thrills, haunted trails, and vibrant photo opportunities around every corner. A live DJ keeps the dance floor alive, while unlimited craft cocktails and gourmet bites keep everyone fueled for a night of neon fun. Brave the haunted scavenger hunt, explore spooky corners, and don your boldest glow-in-thedark look for a chance to win the costume contest.
The evening also includes live and silent auctions, a premium cigar bar, and VIP experiences with early entry, private lounge access, and topshelf drinks. Tickets start at $39, with everything from food to entertainment included. This is a strictly 21-and-up event.
Beyond the thrills, the party supports a truly meaningful cause. SMSC is a nonprofit in El Cajon that empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its programs in creative arts, life skills, and job training help students gain independence, confidence, and meaningful connections with the community.
Whether you’re seeking neon excitement, spooky fun, or just a chance to give back, Spookeasy promises an unforgettable Halloween evening. For tickets and more information, visit spookeasy.org.
