The ribbon is cut on the certified Farmers Market in Alpine

The Alpine Farmer's Market had their grand opening on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. bringing a fresh Farmer’s Market to Alpine.  Many are happy to welcome another opportunity for business in our small town, along with the opportunity for the community members to shop for fresh produce and goods.  

The Alpine Farmer's Market had their grand opening on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. bringing a fresh Farmer’s Market to Alpine.  Many are happy to welcome another opportunity for business in our small town, along with the opportunity for the community members to shop for fresh produce and goods.  
Some of the providers at the Marketplace include Sage Mountain Farm, and Descanso Valley Ranch.  Their was fresh citrus available, avocados, apples, onions, cucumbers, cherries and houseplants. Also included, the vendors will be selling local grass-fed, and free range meats, cheeses, eggs, baked goods and other specialty foods, handmade crafts, artisans and fresh flowers.   
The vendors will be set up in the CVS/Alpine Creek Town Center parking lot , which will be closed off during market hours. Center businesses including Paparazzi, Mediteranneo, Ahi Sushi Bar & Grill, La Carreta Mexican Food, CVS, WCR, Vita Luna Boutique, Studio B Salon, Ace Hardware and Alpine Dry Cleaners will stay open to engage with market vendors and shoppers.
