If the season of Spring doesn’t bring up thoughts of “Abundance” you’d better recheck your focus. Nature provides lavish abundance wherever we cast our eye – especially this April in Alpine after our glorious rains! Not only is nature thriving and producing, but humankind is being bountifully blessed in a myriad of ways! For humankind is yet another product of God’s glorious grace.
It is said that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” Ernest Holmes wrote: “What you are looking for you are looking with.” Our lives are reflections of our intentions, expectations and overall consciousness. If we yearn for more beauty, more grace, more abundance of all good things, then we must place ourselves in the mode of receptivity.
Giving and receiving are circular flows, as we give so shall we receive. The truth of the matter is that nothing truly and totally belongs to us. This life and everything in it is on loan for the allotted time period we are given. When we enlarge our territory beyond our personal interests, beyond our bodies, beyond immediate circles, we enlarge our consciousness.
Giving back to where we are fed spiritually makes the dramatic statement that we acknowledge Life is bigger, more complex, and more abundant than we can ever imagine. Weirner Hesenberg (1901-1976) a German theoretical physicist and key pioneer of quantum mechanics, wrote: “Not only is the universe stranger than we think, it is stranger than we think.” Take the time and opportunity this coming week to ponder the many blessings you experience day in and day out. Look to support with your time, talent and treasure those avenues that feed your soul and uplift your consciousness. Give, pressed down and over_ owing and feel that joyous experience of truly being Love in expression. For that is what you are today and always.
