On Feb. 16, with the support of a grant from the San Diego Association of Governments, Back Country Land Trust led nine volunteers to help reroute one of the downhill trails around a vernal pool habitat in the center of Wright’s Field. They were able to build three new steps out of railroad ties and cut 60 feet of new trail.
