For the first time 100 percent of the proceeds from an Alpine Barons Market Backroom Beer Pairing will go to Alpine elementary schools/PTAs!
The beer pairing is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the market in the Alpine Creek Town Center at 1347 Tavern Road.
Alpine Barons Manager Bob Ring, Vice Chair of the Alpine Chamber of Commerce, said all the proceeds that evening will go to the Alpine Education Foundation, which helps local schools.
The Alpine market typically does four beer pairings a year, turning its outdoor loading dock into a casual bistro for each evening. Proceeds typically go to regional charities.
“This is the first time we’ve been able to donate locally,” Ring said. “If we have a great turnout, this is our opportunity to keep more money in Alpine and show how we’re supporting the local community.”
The fund raiser will feature “big game bites” with Refuge Brewery beer.
Tickets are $15 each and available at www.baronsmarket.com.
