Dear Friends,
Many of you know prospective or current college students who could use some financial assistance to support them in pursuing their college education. My outstanding staff and interns have gathered a list below of numerous grants and scholarships that could help ease the burden.
My wife, Kate, and I are the proud parents of two college graduates and a prospective college student. We understand how exciting this time can be as well as the challenges associated with finding the financial resources necessary to help students achieve their dreams.

The scholarship and grant information list can be accessed by going to www.sen.ca.gov/anderson and clicking “Learn about Scholarships and Grants” under the “How Can I Help?” tab. If you know of any other resources not included in this list, please forward them to Senator.Anderson@senate.ca.gov and we will be sure to add them to our list.
Please keep in mind that these scholarships and grants have varied eligibility requirements and deadlines that must be met in order to be considered as a recipient. We strongly advise you to read them in detail and act promptly. To make it as simple as possible, we have arranged them so that the grants and scholarships with the closest upcoming deadlines are at the very top. Additionally, this list is not officially endorsed by the State Senate. It is simply a service my office provides that I hope you will find to be helpful.
As always, it’s an honor to serve you.
Joel Anderson
