The second Sunday of Advent is upon us as we prepare for the arrival of Christ within our hearts. The Christ consciousness is a universal awareness of our unity and oneness with the One Power and presence that is continually pouring out Life in all Its myriad of ways. Christ came to save the world from the sin of separation. He taught that God is Spirit and God is Love.
As we bathe once again in recalling the events of that first Christmas, we are reminded of the deep faith Mary and Joseph had in trusting the message the angel Gabriel brought them. The messages that come from God come in the form of spirit and love. In other words we can’t always physically “see” the gifts that await our recognition until we step out in faith and trust that love with lead the way. That is exactly what Mary and Joseph did. They went forward in faith lead by love to do their part in bringing forth this blessed event to humankind.
Each and every one of us need be open and available to receive our own message from Spirit this Christmas season. Open your hearts and minds to being lead by this infinite Being of Love and Light. Expect and trust that mighty works are now being established for your highest good.
Say with me: “I open my heart and trust the divine spirit of Love to eternally lead me to my highest good. As I seek first the kingdom of God I know all else follows in perfect order and timing. I am ever so grateful to prepare my heart and mind for the coming of the Christ consciousness of Love and Unity in deeper ways than I have ever known. Thank you God. And it is so. Amen”
