San Diego’s only exotic animal rescue invites guests to grab their  “Passport to the Jungle”
San Diego, Calif. – (April 27, 2015) – Lions, Tigers & Bears (LTB),the Alpine, Calif. non-profit exotic animal sanctuary, invites guests to don their khakis and pith helmets, grab their binoculars and get ready for a few surprises at the sanctuary’s annual Wild in the Country Fundraiser on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 from 3:00 – 6:30 pm. The family friendly event’s theme is “Passport to the Jungle” and features a silent and live auction, live entertainment, music, a catered meal, and visits with the big cats and bears.
 “Now, more than ever, bears and big cats need our help,” said Bobbi Brink, Founder and Director of Lions, Tigers & Bears. “We depend on and value the support we receive from our guests  and members. If you haven’t been to LTB yet, this is a great way to come out, have fun and see the work that we do firsthand.”
 LTB expects more than 500 people in attendance. Featured auction items include an African Safari, weekend getaways, wine tastings, sculptures, live art, restaurant certificates and more. The event will also mark the launch of an opportunity drawing for a brand new Mercedes Benz CLA250 thanks to Mercedes Benz of El Cajon. Tickets are $100 each and only 1,000 tickets will be sold. The drawing will take place on December 5, 2015 at the sanctuary’s Christmas Fundraiser. All proceeds from the Wild in the Country Fundraiser and Mercedes Benz opportunity drawing will benefit the 60+ rescued animals that call the sanctuary home.
 Tickets to Wild in the Country 2015 are on sale now, $110 for adults ($135 after April 30th), $35 for kids or $1,000 for a table for 10. VIP pricing is $245 for adults and $35 for kids. A VIP table for 10 is $2,200. The VIP reception will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. VIP guests will be treated to a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres, complimentary cocktail and a “Feed a Wild One Experience” with the option to feed a lion, tiger or bear. Tickets must be purchased in advance, RSVP by May 4th, 2015.
