Saturday, Nov. 9 at 9 a.m., Dan Foster will lead the community in a Veterans Day event held at the Wall of Honor memorial loÂcated at the Alpine Community Center.
Army veteran and commuÂnity leader Foster has been the driving force behind the memoÂrial that he established through the Kiwanis club of Alpine with additional support from local groups.
VFW Post Quartermaster Carl Silva said that their Color Guard will be in attendance on Saturday and that they are honored to be included in the ceremony.
