Alpine Fest is another Success

For the second year, the Alpine Fest has kicked off to benefit the Warrior Foundation and the Freedom Station of San Diego. This year on September 8, the Alpine Community Center Park began filling up at 11:00 a.m. with vendors, band equipment and people who were gathering to make this event the success that it was.

The opening ceremonies began at 11:00 a.m. Food and beverage service began at noon, with the Kiwanis Cook Shack who served over 200 meals.

There were live auctions that included a beach cruiser from the Holy Roller Bike Shop, a Handmade Sterling Silver Necklace from Alpine Jewelry, An Electronic Dart Board from Darts R Us, and Taste of Alpine included items from Aline Beer company, Alpine Subway, The Greek Village Grill, Janet’s Montana Cafe’, Mananas, Mexican Food, Marechiaros’, Panda Machi and Paparazzi.

There was also raffles for a Barona Golf Getaway, a two night stay at Barona Creek Golf Course, a gourmet dinner for 6, a 6 course diner at a beautiful Mediterranean Style Private home in Alpine, and a surprise raffle.
