A long standing tradition in Alpine is the Annual Father/Daughter’s Sweetheart Dance, where a little girl’s dream comes true as she dances the night away with her very first true love, her dad.
It’s a night of magic, putting on your best dress, doing your hair and slipping on your dancing shoes. The evening coincides with Valentine’s Day so the décor emulates love with pink and red balloons. This event is so popular that it sells out every year. Each daughter that enters the ‘ballroom’ on the arm of their ‘Prince Charming Dad’ is all smiles and excitement. It’s truly a night to remember.
The festivities were at the Alpine Community Center on February 10, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
There was a special gift for each young lady, Rod Galloway was the DJ, and raffle prizes including: (4) –1 Day tickets to Disneyland!
