The midterm elections may be over but your chance to nominate a worthy candidate has arrived today. The Alpine location of Family Auto Service will be giving away a 2001 Dodge Durango to a lucky family this holiday season.
“We want to give away, on Christmas eve, the Durango,” said Elizabeth Lee, executive assistant for Family Auto Service, “We just decided last week, we have a car that came in and we want to gift it, to a family in need.”
A link on their webpage www.familyautoservice.com/ will have a section to voice why a particular individual or family should be given this car. Be it a single mom who has to drive kids to school, someone with health needs that needs transportation to medical appointments, or some other situation that is compelling.
Lee noted the deadline for entries will be Dec. 20. The former owners were moving to Oregon, explained Lee on how the vehicle came about, “He had multiple vehicles.” The royal blue colored car was detailed this week according to Lee.
Family Auto Service will select the family. Visit the website for applicable rules or restrictions.
