The Alpine Sun
The Fairy Festival changed venues this year. Normally it is held at Summer’s Past Farms in Flynn Springs, but this year, all the fairies landed at the Alpine Community Center Park in full fairy fashion and regalia. The weather was gray, but the colorful wings, and floral outfits brightened the event. Little girls and big girls joined the event in costume, wings and wands, living for a few hours in a fantasy full of magic and sparkles.

This free event featured a Parade of Fairies, and awards. It was an afternoon to escape from reality and enjoy childhood delights, enjoying Spring in all it’s floral beauty. Also gracing the pagentry were Princesses dressed in their royal outfits.
Fairy gardens were on display handcrafted with miniature homes fashioned from mushrooms and tree trunks. These charming little gardens were created in actual flower bowls, and baskets. Every little detail was added to dipict what a fairy needs most in her home.
