Families gathered at Summer’s Past Farms to pick out the perfect pumpkin for the perfect Halloween holiday.  The grounds at Summer’s Past Farms are wonderful, and when the grass is sprinkled with bright orange pumpkins, the need to run home and pull out the carving equipment is almost unbearable. The ability to pick out a pumpkin from the patch they grew in is reminiscent of days gone by.  Kids were playing in the hay bales, running through the patch and jumping with joy.  Then, one has the overwhelming need to fill the house with the scents of fall, cinnamon and spice and everything nice.
The next event that will be taking place at Summer’s Past is the Soap Making Demonstration on November 2.  If you have ever wanted to know how to make soap, now is your opportunity!
The Holiday Open House is another attraction not to miss..  The Lozier’s promise to fill the barn with a lot of inspiration for beautiful holiday décor.  There will be sparkling ornaments, trimmings, scents, and soaps, beautiful gifts to fill your stockings along with homemade cookies and treats.  Stop by on November 14 to enjoy Christmas music and a cup of hot wassail under the colorful Christmas lights.
Then be sure to put the Antique and Craft Fair on your calendar on December 7.  Any time you visit Summer’s Past you are sure to find something that you can’t do without.  This is an extraordinary opportunity to shop for the holidays, and find the perfect something for that special someone.
