A judge Monday declined to set bail for a Boulevard man who is accused of killing his older brother who also lived on the same property in BouÂlevard.
David Wayne Smith, 52, pleaded not guilty in El CaÂjon Superior Court involving the Nov. 1 shooting of Danny Smith, 63.
Sheriff’s deputies arrived in response to a call at 4:17 p.m. and found Danny Smith deceased from a traumatic gunshot wound. A Dec. 20 preliminary hearing was set. David Smith remains in the central jail.
