The Alpine View Lodge is once again launching our team for this year’s WALK4ALZ fundraising walk in support of Alzheimer’s San Diego. Our team name is QUEST FOR THE CURE and it is indeed a quest that we will be making together, you and I. Many of you joined us in our quest last year and your were amazing!!

Once again our journey is to create a world without Alzheimer’s disease and toward the end we are joining together to raise funds to both support those impacted now by this horrible disease and to FIND A CURE. I want my memories and intellect to last my lifetime…. don’t you? I am proud and thankful to be a cancer survivor, but sadly I have yet to meet anyone who has won the battle against Alzheimer’s disease and THAT has to change. We have found cures for so many diseases. It’s time to do it with A.D.
Our team had terrific success last year in exceeding our goal of raising $50,000.00. We raised almost $53,000.00 and are aiming for $60,000.00 this year. You can help and I know that you will because we all are touched by Alzheimer’s disease and dream of a world where it has been made a thing of the past.
Join our team. Do it right now…. not later, not tomorrow. The tomorrow we are fighting for is yours and we need to fight that battle today. Join that fight in memory of those who have lost the battle, for those fighting it now, for your own future and the future of your children.

Mark the date for events already just around the corner. Join us at the Lodge on Sunday, March 26th for our wine and cheese tasting beginning at noon. We knocked it out of the park last year. Our wines and cheese plates were a WOW!!!! Your ten dollar donation will allow you to sample wines from around the world.
Mark your calendar for our June 7th event at Alpine Beer Company Pub in Alpine as we enjoy the great beer and food of ABC and Green Flash Brewing Company who have once again generously underwritten this event. We will also be offering a fantastic raffle with a grand prize of a week in a fantastic southwestern resort of your choosing. Other prizes include a weekend in Palm Springs and a weekend at Barona with spa, dining and golf. We will also be hosting an AMAZING silent auction that will simply knock you over. A live auction will offer a staycation in San Diego at the U.S. Grant hotel with a weekend of fun, food and Sunday Brunch cruise. Grab ten people you know and head on over as we take over Alpine Beer Company’s Pub at the Alpine Creek Shopping center from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Join the Monarch Club by raising just $1,000.00 and have your own exclusive raffle. A three night stay at a luxury home on Mission Bay (three bedroom, two bath) and dinner for four at Catamaran’s Oceana Coastal Kitchen. There has to be a way to beat this disease. There has to be a way to help those afflicted right now and honor those who fought the good fight by being the ones who fund the cure.
