Thought for the Week: Beautiful in and out

Summer is upon us! Gardens are blooming, veggies are sprouting, birds are singing, and temperatures are climbing! So, it’s easy to see beauty everywhere – right? That has been our theme this month, “Behold Beauty Everywhere.” This Sunday’s message is “Beautiful Inside and Out.’ As mentioned this past Sunday, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To see beauty on the outside requires beauty begins on the inside. Just like all the other qualities of God, one must first possess these qualities within in order to demonstrate them without. And the truth of the matter is that we all do possess all of God’s qualities, be it Love, Order, Power, Beauty, Joy, Abundance, Peace, etc. within us since God is present everywhere, in everything full force. If we don’t honor this truth, however, and think and subsequently act otherwise, we withhold and stimy these forces. “As within, so without” is an ancient saying that holds true in my book. In truth we can have all these qualities of God, yet if we are unaware and are nonbelievers it bene fits us and the world not.

Take a look, an honest inquiring look, at a particular situation that causes you stress and upset. Then go within and petition your Higher Self to reveal to you what of Its qualities needs to be brought forth and cultivated. If you earnestly listen and want to rise above the dilemma, your heart and mind will soften and you will be guided to right and perfect action.

Think of yourself as beautiful. Feel the beauty within you. Not from a superficial standpoint, but from a deeper, truer, Beauty. When you do this it will be reflected out to the world.

Say with me: “I think and act from the purity of the Love, Harmony and Beauty that is within me and as I do, I see and experience those qualities in my everyday life. And it is so.”
