Thought for the Week: Deeper knowledge

The definition of education is to give instruction or training to the student. However, there is a higher education where the teacher draws out from the student knowledge that was planted there in the beginning. I’m not talking about facts and figures type of knowledge. I’m talking about a deeper knowledge each of us can tap into from our soul level.

Accessing this soul level of knowledge isn’t for the faint of heart for it involves going within and listening to the still small voice which constantly comes from within – when we listen for it. Many people call it intuition, an instinctive knowing that doesn’t come from reading a book. How many times can you remember having a “hunch” about doing, or not doing, something and didn’t follow it only to realize in hindsight you should have followed it? I know we all have had that experience.

There is a Higher Self within each and every one of us that only has our best interests at heart. This is the teacher, the instructor, we should heed in order to live life to the fullest. Be prepared to let go of the old in order to step into new arenas under Its guidance. “Behold, I make all things new” is a truth that supports us toward our ascension of broadening our consciousness as the mind yields from its intellectual base to its spiritual base.

There is a revelation of truth found within each one of us when we yearn to experience the God presence at each and every moment. Joel Goldsmith stated: “There is no way to bring a spiritual good, a spiritual power, into our experience from outside our being. Spirituality is not something that comes to us, but rather something that flows out from us when we entertain the Word within.”

Say with me: “There is a infinite center of wisdom that directs my every step as I open to Its power and presence within me.”
