Woollystar is an intimate weekend of live music, film, and camping held at Woollystar Ranch in California’s smallest County.
Wreckless Strangers is a collective of six seasoned Bay Area musicians featuring Amber Morris (premier Bay Area vocalist and voice coach for members of Journey, Eric Martin Band) on vocals; David Noble (Poor Man’s Whiskey, Pardon The Interruption) on lead guitar, vocals; Joshua Zucker (The Jones Gang, Rowan Brothers) on bass; Mick Hellman (The Go To Hell Man Band) on drums and vocals; and Rob Anderson (repeat world champion cyclist) on guitar. Oakland-based hip-hop, jazz, and soul pianist Kev Choice will join the band for the three Sierra town shows. From historic watering holes and outdoor festivals to free community celebrations and beer gardens to Zen barns, there are a variety of places to catch the Wreckless Strangers and their brand of “California Americana Soul” over the coming months.
Produced by Grammy Award-winner Colin Linden (Bruce Cockburn, Alison Krauss / Robert Plant, Bob Dylan), When the Sun and a Blue Star Collide is now available on all music streaming platforms and at upcoming shows, and more.
