Thought for the Week: To him that hath

The Christ consciousness is within each and every one of us and as we turn to It and accept our oneness with God, we pour forth from the infinite abundance within us. “To Him That Hath” is the topic for this Sunday’s message taken from Joel Goldsmith’s Practicing the Presence. It is based on the scripture “he that hath, to him shall be given; and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.” Sounds pretty harsh doesn’t it? But it is a principle; it is the law of life. We must know that we already have. If we believe we do not have enough we will surely demonstrate that as well! We must come from the truth that “all that the Father has is mine” and then begin to pour – begin to use what we have.

The Master called the Way straight and narrow. There were always multitudes coming to him to be fed, but there were never multitudes multiplying loaves and fishes. Why? Because they didn’t believe they had! They believed only Jesus could perform these miracles. They did not believe him when he said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.”

We must believe and allow the Father within to do the works through us as Jesus the Christ taught. The Father knows over every need and fulfills them in perfect divine order and timing. Let us trust and know we are living in the kingdom of God now and always.

Say with me: “I acknowledge that I have and in this acknowledgement I demonstrate have because I go to the Father and allow His infinite kingdom to live in and flow through me this day. Accepting this truth, I am eternally grateful and it is so.
