Alpine sheriff’s detectives and deputies have arrested two men in an ongoing investigation into dozens of commercial burglaries involving losses up to $130,000 in East County.
Both men were arrested Jan. 31 in Lakeside and Spring Valley and they were arraigned Feb. 4 in El Cajon Superior Court.
A preliminary hearing for AnÂdrew Robert Myers and Adam Matthew Nuno, both 34, will be set this week.
The names of the burglarÂized businesses have not been released but they include businesses in the Rancho San Diego area west of Campo Road and other locations, according to the sheriff’s department.
The first one occurred on May 12, 2016 allegedly by Nuno by himself, and Myers and Nuno reportedly burglarized 10 othÂers through Jan. 31, according to the 18-count criminal complaint.
The men are also charged with operating a clandestine marijuana growing operation and a butane honey oil extracÂtion laboratory that was discovÂered on Jan. 31.
Nuno and his wife, Suzanne Gonzalez Nuno, 35, were also arrested on four counts of child endangerment. They have all pleaded not guilty.
Nuno and his wife have been released on bond, but Myers reÂmains in the George Bailey DeÂtention Facility on $300,000 bail.
