Every year, a thing happens. . . it’s a giving thing.  This time of year sparks kindness, and the need to share good will with fellow men and women, and so we see brown bags pop up all over Alpine in a celebration of generosity and charity.
The gift bag drive is an on-going annual inititive taken on by local, Jeff Campbell, to spread the cheer and charity at this wonderful time of giving.

Nearly 17 years ago, GiftBagDrive.com was founded as an annual charitable event. Begining as a one man operation, over the years, hundreds have been inspired to go door-to-door passing out gift bags.
Rodney Smith RJS sponsor helped pick up Bags. JMMS donated their food drive to our drive for 5th year in a row. All food stays in Alpine to fill church pantries and the community center kitchen.  There are seven drop off sites in Alpine to make your donations they include: Joan McQueen Middle School. Albertson’s, Edward Jones, The Alpine Sun, Waste Management, Postal Annex of Alpine, Pacific Growth Sales, Baron’s Market, Renee’s Salon, Alpien Auto, and RJS Inc.
To date, we have collected and given away over 11,000 bags of donatable goods to over 30 churches and outreach centers and have brokered thousands of dollars in donations to community organizations helping the hungry, assisting military families and needy children. 2014 is our 17th year of empowering others to give.
